19 Golden Open Space

In November 2009, the Open Space trail crew reported,
"There are many more miles of trail to be built. Los
Duendes are an industrious bunch. We expect the rest
of the trail plan to be executed over the next few years."
At last check (Dec 2009) the trail was a 3.1-mile
figure-eight with new segments including a 0.3-mile
cave loop and a 1.4-mile return to the trailhead to close
the larger loop. Also, a spur descended into the arroyo.
(Well, sorta like that. Anyway, the trails are
well-defined, so it's hard to get lost.)
