-   Stephen Ausherman is the author of the guidebook, 60 Hikes Within 60 Miles: Albuquerque.
-   He served as the 2007 Artist-in-Residence at Cornucopia Art Center in Lanesboro, Minnesota.
-   In 2005, he was the Writer-in-Residence for Bernheim Forest in Kentucky, Devils Tower
-   National Monument in Wyoming, and Buffalo National River in Arkansas.

-   Culling photos, video, notes, maps, sketches and other materials from three
-   years of field research, Ausherman has created multimedia works that reexamine
-   the interface between people and parklands.
