Kammer 2.1 is a collection of digital art, primarily short
videos, that viewers can browse on a PC-based display.
Think of it as a hybrid of a contemporary art gallery
installation and a nature center interpretive exhibit.
Previous editions featured Lanesboro, MN,
and McHenry County, IL.
Kammer 2.1 explores unique cultural or environmental
aspects of central New Mexico.
Kammer 2.1 was first exhibited
May 29 - August 30, 2009 at the
Albuquerque Open Space Visitor Center
as part of the LAND/ART program
The browser-based system keeps
user-interface simple. It's as easy
to navigate as a basic website.
New works were added to the display
throughout the summer.
Support for Kammer 2.1 comes in large part from a
New Visions Award from the New Mexico Film Office.
