Ausherman and Associates-- Local author Stephen Ausherman will present a night of short films,
local talent and multimedia performances based on the fiction of (who else?) Stephen Ausherman.
Night Weeding + Other Compulsions is linked to the release of Ausherman’s newest novel,
Fountains of Youth . Written, shot, directed and choreographed by Stephen Ausherman, the
evening will feature performances by Nicole Brady, Chuck Hawley, Nando Fresquez, Don McIver
and Tony Santiago. Night Weeding will take place Sunday, Sept. 17, at 5 p.m. at the Guild Cinema.

Guild Event Celebrates 'Weeding'

A showcase of offbeat short films and local performers will be presented under the title of "Night
Weeding + other compulsions" at 5 p.m. today at the Guild Cinema, 3405 Central NE.
The event is linked to the release of Albuquerque resident Stephen Ausherman's latest books—
"Fountains of Youth" and "Night Weeding." The former is a novel and the latter is a chapbook of
short fiction. Performers include Nicole Brady, Chuck Hawley, Nando Fresquez, Don McIver and
Tony Santiago. Tickets are $8 at the door.
